Single-Stream Double: Seltzer - Lemon and Original, 12x9 in., oil on masonite, 2021

 

Quart bottles of seltzer with metal spritzer tops were regularly delivered in wooden crates to my childhood home. They were stored in the basement, the perfect place for shaking and squirting seltzer at my brother, who was shaking and aiming one back at me. My parents were never happy to find half empty seltzer bottles in the crates!
